What Fidra's servers store: encrypted data they can't read.

Your clients trust you. Your software shouldn't need them to trust anyone else.

Most client-management tools can read everything you store in them. That means your clients' information depends on every vendor employee, every contractor, every breach, and every future decision to train AI on customer data. For professionals with a duty of confidentiality, that's a risk you carry without controlling.

Confidential by construction

    Client records, notes, documents, and intake submissions are created on your device.

  2. Your device encrypts it.

    Before anything leaves your computer, it's encrypted with a key only you hold.

  3. We store what we can't read.

    Our servers keep your encrypted data safe and in sync. Without your key, it's unreadable, to us or anyone else.

Intake forms work the same way: submissions are encrypted in your client's browser before they're sent.

You hold the only key

Because only you can decrypt your data, only you can recover it. If you lose both your password and your recovery key, no one, including us, can restore access. That's what makes Fidra private.

So we make it hard to lose. When you set up your account, Fidra gives you a Recovery Sheet to print and keep with your other important papers. We'll remind you to confirm it's somewhere safe.

Fidra will be a monthly subscription for solo practitioners and small firms. Early-access members will receive founding pricing.

Is Fidra available now?

Not yet. We're building Fidra with a small group of early-access practitioners. Request access and we'll be in touch as places open.

What does "encrypted on your device" mean?

Your information is scrambled on your own computer using a key only you hold, before it's sent to our servers. We store it, but without your key it's unreadable. This approach is sometimes called zero-knowledge or end-to-end encryption.

What happens if I forget my password?

You can regain access with your recovery key. If you lose both your password and your recovery key, your data can't be recovered by anyone, including us. We help you avoid that with a printed Recovery Sheet during setup.

Will you use my data to train AI?

No. We can't read your client data, so we couldn't use it for AI training even if we wanted to, and we don't.

What can Fidra's team see?

See "What we can and can't see" above. In short, account and billing information and basic usage metadata, never the contents of your client records.

What if Fidra receives a legal request for my data?

We comply with valid legal process. Because client records are encrypted with keys only you hold, what we're able to produce is limited to encrypted data and the account information listed above.
